Look who I found lurking in my cabinets. It’s Ayden! I mean he was all the way in that cabinet. : ) I almost broke my neck running to get the camera in time. He ended up stuck so I guess that I could have taken my time. You know how it is though…you usually only have seconds to react before the moment is lost.
Oh yes, we have come to the stage of cabinet and drawer plundering. Investigating the latest addition to the trash can…EWWW! Discovering that there is water in the toilet bowl…clean or dirty…doesn’t matter to him…YUCK! Oh Lord, isn’t this age full of wonder. You should see how I have my office desk “rigged” to keep him out. Well, let me just include a picture of that as well. Ha! Too bad it really doesn’t work though. It just looks intimidating but he can pull the drawers out just enough to reach is hand in there and pull out whatever it is that he isn’t suppose to have! He has let it snap back on him a few times. You think he’d learn his lesson but nope. He just screams at the drawer as if he expects it to apologize to him or something : )
All of those normal aggravations aside, this is one loveable little boy. He is a cuddle bug and I absolutely eat it up! Yesterday we danced in my office (we tend to do that a lot and I am glad that no once can see us) and he just raises his little head up off of my shoulder and looks at me and smiles as if he completely understands the infinite love that I have for him. Then, he lays his head back down on my shoulder and lets me glide across the floor inhaling the pure, organic high of being a MOTHER! I was born to do this! There is no greater joy than the one of my two little guys.
That little BOY can get into anything he is so cute
