I met April almost two years ago at The Deacon’s wedding. She was sweet, bubbly and had a twinkle in her eye even then. Little did I know that soon she would be the Bride. We met and talked about her upcoming wedding to her very own Prince Charming. And I have to say that from the love that I witnessed through Kellen’s eyes in the way that he adored his Bride…even I was smitten! What a true gentleman. April, count your blessings my dear…handsome and genuinely sweet…he’s a rare jewel. And on the flip side of that, I also paid close attention to the way that April summoned Kellen near to her and melted into his arms each time that they were close. There is a pure and authentic love between these two that is visible to everyone in their presence. I truly loved how they were constantly surrounded by friends and family throughout the evening but yet they somehow managed to be in each other’s arms and off in a world all their own…that is the very definition of two people in love y’all.
I must say that April’s dress was by far one of my favorite wedding dresses to date! I just loved it. And her shoes…wow…fabulous! She had a gold pair that she wore down the aisle and then she changed into her reception attire with an identical silver pair. Their guests dined on some amazing food catered by Chef Art who owns a local restaurant called Checkers. And let me tell ya…April sent me home with not only a plate but an entire container of food and it was absolutely delicious! Bravo Chef Art! I couldn’t decide what was better…the food or the cake…but when I realized that my husband had eaten 3/4 of that piece of cake that I brought home I was ready to hang him by his toes! I’m still not sure what was in the middle of that cake but whatever it was…it was divine. Miss Aubrie (April and Kellens beautiful daughter) thought is divine as well…in fact she had a taste (or two) long before anyone else did. ;-)
This was a long awaited day for two incredibly special people and I just love the love that they share! April and Kellen…your wedding was beautiful but your obvious affection for each other is even more beautiful! I have no doubt that happiness is yours for an eternity! I had a blast out on the dance floor with you and your ladies April! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your inner circle! I know that you are soaking up the sun in Jamaica and I hope that you are enjoying this time for just the two of you as husband and wife. Don’t worry about life back home…it will be waiting for you when you return. Have an unforgettable honeymoon! Lotsa love! XOXOXO

That bride is gorgeous! She looks like something out of a magazine! My favorite picture of her is the one where she is holding the champagne glass at the bottom of your blog with her cute, happy expression!
