They arrived in their adorable little outfits ready to have their pictures made…but…it was cold! And I mean cold. That wind was like a razor blade that would cut right through you. They Nearly Froze
December 15, 200950 Years Ago
December 14, 2009The Porters said “I do” 50 years ago and they said it again last Saturday night. I must tell you that when I walked into the lobby and was greeted by Mrs. Porters original and beautiful wedding gown along with so many authentic items for her wedding 50 years ago, I was blown away! Hooray…for another pack rat like me. Now I don’t feel so bad! I came home and informed my hubby right away that I was not the only person in the world who held onto things year after year.

McFriendship
December 8, 2009“Dylan is my friend Mom.” Austin was in kindergarten and Dylan was a name that I began to hear often. As the holidays rolled around Ayden and I headed up to school to share in a Thanksgiving feast with Austin. I happen to sit beside Dylan’s Mom and her precious little girl Blake. We talked…a lot. We had several thing in common including our similar dislike for a few things “school related.” When I left that day I thought to myself “I hope that Dylan and Austin will be classmates for many years to come. They are a good match. And I like Dylan’s Mom…we are actually a lot alike.” That’s how it happened…a friendship was born. The McCarthy’s and The McWilliams.
