This week has been a mad rush to get all of my client orders completed in time for Christmas delivery. I am proud to say that as of 3:11am this morning…mission accomplished! Now onto preparations for tomorrow nights JAX SMUG Christmas party.
Tonight, I wanted to take a quick minute just to say hello and thank you to all of you loyal Blog readers. I am feeling some guilt over my limited posts this month. However, I am certain that all of y’all are just as busy as me so I am sure that you can relate. : )
I love a Christmas tree! What I normally don’t love is assembling one. In years past this task had frequently involved a few bad words (shh, don’t tell anyone) and several strands of lights being thrashed across the game room floor. I can even recall a few years where a self pity party was had and river of tears was shed. Why? Well, if you are asking this question then obviously you have never assembled a Christmas tree! See, the way it usually happens is…you test each strand of lights as you go. If they don’t work…you chunk ’em. If they do…on the tree they go. After several meticulous hours of stringing and decorating…the tree is perfect. UNTIL…you plug the lights in. That’s when it happens…the tears, curse words, pity party and thrashing of lights. Defeat sets in and you vow to never let this happen again…until next year. I see your head nodding along with me. You know you have been there at some point. LOL! Well, this year I am thrilled to report that my tree assembly and decorating was a quiet, calm success. I learned the value of surge protectors and multi outlet extension cords. I also only connected a maximum of two strands of lights per plug. And voila! Success of a masterpiece. So here it is. I hope you love your Christmas tree this year.
GORGEOUS photo! Nice tree!
