It’s an enormous compliment when a Bride chooses me to document her dream wedding. But when her Groom is equally involved in that choice it speaks volumes. I had worked with Corey before during The Nelson Wedding. When these two love birds came to me as a couple who together specifically favored me as their wedding photographer, it was in that moment that I knew it was time…time for me to return to my art form. One look at Bridgette and Corey reminded me of all the reasons why I became a wedding photographer years ago. The love between them is brilliant. It’s what life is all about.

March 24, 2015Hidden Hills Country Club Wedding ~ Derek & Rose
March 22, 2011Back in February I met with Derek and Rose on a Saturday afternoon to shoot their engagement. The clouds rolled in on us and the chill in the air was dominant. Saturday’s wedding weather was polar opposite. It was an exquisite day. Flawless blue skies. Perfect Spring breeze. Sun rays beaming in between the old oaks at Hidden Hills. It was indeed the dream wedding day!

Meet Rose and Derek…
The Wedding Ninja
July 18, 2010During the ceremony I took my shoes off so that the minimal squeak would be nonexistent. I silently slithered around the room snagging shots from every angel. Angela and John’s wedding was gorgeous…but more to come on that this week. About half way through the reception a guest came up to me and told me that he wasn’t sure what my business name was but he knew what it should be…The Wedding Ninja. I had to laugh out loud and tell him how much I loved that title and it just so happened that I had already been nicknamed the e-mail ninja. We laughed and he said that a couple of times he had even bet a few of the other guests that they wouldn’t be able to find me. He actually came over to me as I was crouched behind the cake table shooting away to tell me that no one else could find me. LOL! He thought I moved like a ninja. I loved that!
