I tweeted yesterday that my boys had sent me on a scavenger hunt here at the house. My oldest held my hand and led me in the right direction from note to note to make sure that I didn’t miss anything. His eyes lit up like infinite rays of sunshine. Smiles as wide as the sky. “We worked really hard on this Mom. It took a lot of effort.”

My Absolute Best Valentine’s Ever
February 15, 2010Modern Day Fairytales
January 6, 2010When I told y’all yesterday that I would be looking like the Pillsbury Dough Boy…I meant it! I like to have froze shooting this session yesterday! I ended up bundling up in a tanktop, turtleneck, vest jacket, full jacket, jeans, gloves and boots with 2 pairs of socks. It was that cold and I don’t care where you are from…I’m tellin’ ya it was down right cold in Florida yesterday! I don’t know how these models withstood it but they did and boy were they a bunch of troopers! Beautiful troopers!
Pure Randomness…
January 5, 2010This week is one full of excitement as I am gearing up to attend Imaging USA January 9-12th. This is like my after Christmas…Christmas. I am bursting with anticipation. I love an atmosphere brimming with knowledge, experience and touchable new items for me to explore and bring home to my 2010 clients. I am a visual person and seeing and touching things makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! Let me not forget to mention that I am staying at the incredible Gaylord Opryland Resort and I am almost as excited about that as I am the convention itself…have you seen this place? Wow!
Happy New Year!
January 1, 2010I hope that you all had a safe and happy New Year’s Eve celebration! My family and I always go over to our sweet neighbor’s house to ring in the New Year. We fill our bellies full of yummy food and plenty of steamed oysters! The kids look forward to the grand display of fireworks and we relish in the blessing of togetherness. When it’s time to go…we always laugh because they say “Now y’all be careful. Y’all have a long drive home.” It’s my favorite drive home! It’s literally right across the street. : ) These folks are like family to us and our appreciation for the bond that we share with them is infinite! They are wonderful to Jeff and me and even better to our children. My son will tell you emphatically that they are our family. Period.
