If there were ever a couple that were sweeter than Amanda and Adam on their wedding day I would love to meet them because I honestly can't fathom it possible. I met these two love birds at April and Kellens wedding back in 2009. Amanda told me that she would be getting married in the next couple of years and that she would like me to photograph her wedding. Here we were almost two years to the day at her own fairy tale wedding.

Their mud session has been the water cooler talk of my Blog since the day it posted. That experience was a first of its kind for me and one that I will never forget. I had just as much fun as they did...I just didn't get as dirty. ;-)

Back in February I met with Derek and Rose on a Saturday afternoon to shoot their engagement. The clouds rolled in on us and the chill in the air was dominant. Saturday's wedding weather was polar opposite. It was an exquisite day. Flawless blue skies. Perfect Spring breeze. Sun rays beaming in between the old oaks at Hidden Hills. It was indeed the dream wedding day!

It was a picture perfect day in Jupiter Florida when Davin and Steve said I do on the most requested wedding date of the year! Surrounded by their close friends and family, they exchanged vows on her Grandmothers dock. The ceremony was personal and to the point…just as Davin had requested.

It's always nice to get a little press. It's especially nice when I get to share the spotlight with some of my own amazing clients! This month two of my bridal couples made print in two separate Jacksonville Magazine publications. You can see Alisa and Brandon George in Jacksonville Magazine's BRIDE edition. And you can see April and Kellen Jordan in Jacksonville Magazine's August issue. You may recall seeing Cameron and Mike Bruce back in the April issue. It is always a nice surprise for these hometown couples when their friends and families recognize them in magazines.

It is truly my honor to be a part of this PPA (Professional Photographers of America) See The Difference campaign. I have heard so many disheartening stories from Brides who wish that they had followed their gut instinct when it came to choosing their wedding photographer...even when their wallet may have slightly disagreed. I am certainly not one to influence or persuade people to make a choice that they are uncomfortable with. That said, I do encourage Brides to think long term. The expense of a wedding is one of the biggest price tags of many couples lives...consider the items that stay with you forever. It's not the lobster and filet mignon dinner or the exclusivity of the over the top venue...it's the wedding photography. I encourage Brides to truly contemplate how important this piece of the wedding puzzle is to you? If it doesn't rank at the top of your list...fair enough...splurge on the catering and the venue or better yet the honeymoon! But if it does rank at the top of your priority list...please don't let it fall by the wayside! Do your research and find the perfect photographer for you. This is one investment that I don't think too many people regret. In fact, the only regrets that I hear of are the Brides who let this priority fall short. It breaks my heart when that happens. Your wedding photographer truly does make a difference.

For Angela...the answer to many of her questions unknowingly stared her in the face for many years. You see, she and John's sister are best friends so she and John have been a part of each others lives for many years far before they fell in love. It wasn't until John's sister got married that Angela suddenly viewed John as "the one" instead of as her best friends little brother. The most beautiful part of all is that they already had an amazing friendship so naturally the path to love shortly followed.
