Far too often I fail to share “final products” here on the blog. I get so excited to deliver them to my clients that I forget to allow the rest of you to see how they turned out. I am going to try to be better about sharing actual albums and other goodies on the blog. Here is a quick slideshow of a final wedding album layout for the gorgeous Paula and Brian. Remember them from last year? Oh how I LOVED their Palm Coast wedding!!!

June 23, 2010Sunday’s {Walk The Shot}
May 18, 2010I am always learning as I go. What I learned from Heather’s {Walk The Shot} was that I completely underestimated the time frame that this workshop would take…like bad! ;-) We didn’t end until 12:35am but I said “it ain’t over ’till it’s over.” I worked really hard to create a workbook that would not only keep us on track but not allow us to miss a single topic. There is so much to cover and for those of you who know me so well and say to yourself…”I am sure that you talked a lot”…yes, you are right! However, I must give myself credit for not allowing the conversation to steer away from photography or business hardly ever…if at all. In fact, I think that the only time that Sheila and I chatted personally was on our trips to and from the restroom. This is difficult for me but people are spending a considerable amount of money to learn and I am there to teach. I want to give 100+% within the time alloted. I hope that Sheila and Heather would agree that I did.
Who Should I Print With?
May 14, 2010I often get asked the question “who should I print with?” by my clients as well as Facebook followers who just want to know of a great lab to have their personal images printed through. I am happy to tell you that I do, indeed, have the perfect lab for you. Unitprints. They are reasonably priced. Completely trustworthy. And their quality is outstanding. I have tested them myself and I know what they have to offer. I always refer Unitprints to my clients who purchase my digital packages because I want to be sure that when they send their images off to be printed that the color and clarity is closest to what it would be if they ordered the print directly from me.
Investing In Your Clients
April 20, 2010As many of you know, I had the distinct honor of speaking in the SmugMug booth at WPPI this year. When initially asked I feverishly pondered what I would talk about? And then the simple thought occurred to me…Investing In Your Clients. This is the backbone of my personal business structure. Something that comes natural to me and would be easy for me to speak about. Considering the fact that I do not advertise…I depend on my clients to refer me out to their inner circles. If at any point I chose not to whole heartedly invest in each and every one of my clients why in the world would I expect them to invest in me? I wouldn’t. Period.
