There is a certain something special about being a high school senior. It’s an earned respect from underclassmen. An undeniably cool vibe that radiates all around as you track through the halls of your high school. It’s like having lunch at the cool kids table all year long. It’s the end of your childhood era and an invitation to adulthood. A proclamation of independence. A year of treasured memories and great accomplishments that will follow you for the rest of your life.

Jasmine ~ Jacksonville Florida Senior Photographer
July 28, 2011Diamonds Fashion Shoot
November 8, 2010For years, I haven’t been able to drive down the road and not evaluate every place I go by as a possible backdrop for the next session I shoot. As a photographer, I look at the world, light and my surroundings differently. Trees, leaves, buildings, color…everything is different. Yesterday, I joined Faythe Mesic for the last fashion shoot of 2010. The location was Earthworks and I was simply in heaven! I was surrounded by perfect scenarios for my style of photography. The only problem was we were short on daylight due to the weekend time change…which I am not a fan of. I photographed all of these models in about 35 minutes and then sadly the golden sun faded fast! I could have shot this location and these models for hours. The combination of the two was exquisite. Thank you to Earthworks, Faythe Mesic and the team of gorgeous models! It was a pleasure to work with you.
Katelynn ~ Ponte Vedra High School Senior
October 12, 2010Katelynn and Lauren used to be classmates. Soon after Lauren’s Senior session hit Facebook I got a message from Katelynn about shooting her Senior portraits. I was so excited because spending time with these girls takes me back to an absolute fabulous time in my own life when I was a high school senior…and no, it wasn’t that long ago. ;-) I met up with Katelynn and her Mom on a gorgeous afternoon in downtown St. Augustine. I couldn’t have asked for a more stunning model! Katelynn has the most amazingly flawless, silky complexion…to die for! Yet, somehow she believes that she has a “better side.” That totally cracked me up because she is 360 degrees of gorgeousness.
Lauren ~ St. Augustine High School Senior
September 14, 2010I have been in touch with Lauren’s Mom for the last year on Facebook. She has been telling me that when the time drew near she couldn’t wait for me to photograph her daughters senior portraits. Oh, how thankful I am that she felt that way! Lauren is absolutely gorgeous. I could have photographed her all day long and well…I kinda did. We set off mid afternoon on Saturday in Lauren’s hometown of St. Augustine and didn’t stop until the sun had almost set. I think it goes without saying that Lauren drew a crowd. People just stopped and watched for a few minutes as we worked. At one point a gentleman approached us and literally sat within inches of Lauren…Um HELLO dude! We are working here and I’m pretty certain that Lauren doesn’t want you in her Senior pictures. Geez. We were nice though. We packed up and politely wished him a wonderful day.
