All little girls fantasize about their wedding day but rarely does it happen exactly as envisioned. There are so many factors that culminate into that final wedding day countdown and then there’s no turning back. The hours pass as minutes and before you can blink it has all come and gone. Yet, there are those rare weddings that seem to play out flawlessly and The Hartley Wedding was exactly that…flawless!! When I tell you that every detail of this wedding was magnificent I feel as though I am not even giving it it’s due credit. From start to finish this wedding was absolutely, breathtakingly brilliant.
I have an established history with several of the Bridal party as they were also part of The Nelson Wedding I photographed back in 2010. They are a close group of friends that are admirable in their loyalty and support for one another. Their relationships are those of a lifetime. I have such a respect for these type of genuine bonds as they are far and few between. It certainly doesn’t hurt that they are all beautiful people as well. And the kids in this bridal party…you’d think they just stepped out of a magazine!! Total cuteness overload!!
Bridgette and Corey are the all American Southern Country couple who will steal your heart at first glance. Their love for one another penetrates the room and seamlessly bounces off the walls landing on your own heart strings. It’s a beautiful emotion to experience. This is the way every couple should feel on their wedding day. As a guest you can’t help but be drawn into a shared state of joy with them. I simply adore these two beyond measure.
Now, can we just chat about The Tringali Barn for a moment? To. Die. For. It is everything. I wish it were mine and I would never photograph a wedding at any other venue again. It’s that fabulous!! From the private drive to the hidden parking to the meticulously thought out design, it is spectacular. I haven’t stopped talking about it since I left. And to add to the enchantment of the venue, I had the pleasure of working with Han Tak from Paradigm’D for the first time and I am blown away by the drone video he captured of the wedding. Coolest! Thing! Ever! What a fascinating compliment to my still imagery and vice versa. It encapsulates such a unique perspective that could never be appreciated from the ground.
Corey and Bridgette, I am so honored to have been your chosen wedding photographer and to have had the privilege of sharing the beginning hours of your journey into married life together. I wish y’all a lifetime of love and laughter as deep and reverent as the day you said “I do.” Thank you for allowing me to contribute to your wedding day documentary. I am so excited to see what the future holds for the two of you. Happy Honeymooning!!!
XOXO ~ Dawn
