PPA (Professional Photographers of America) has just launched a campaign called “See The Difference.” This campaign is meant to help educate future Brides on why choosing a professional photographer is so incredibly important. The coolest part of this campaign is that PPA has spent time collecting the actual experiences of REAL BRIDES and allowing them to recount their own stories regarding the importance of hiring a credible professional wedding photographer. I was completely honored when one of my wedding couples, The Lipka’s, were chosen to share their experience with the world. You can read their full featured story on PPA.

See The Difference
July 1, 2010Not On The Social Networking Boat?
June 21, 2010It is always interesting to me when others (clients or colleagues) go through my work and choose the images that “speak to them.” Inevitably their favorites are never my favorites. But what I like is the fact that it makes me re-evaluate each one of those images and try to decipher what it is they saw in them. This week I am excited to be highlighted on All The Photographers blog. You can see what favorites Justin from All The Photographers chose of mine to feature on his blog. Thanks again Justin! It’s been a pleasure corresponding with you.
Florida SMUGapalooza!
June 16, 2010This announcement comes with HUGE anticipation on my part. Y’all know how much I enjoy being the JAX SMUG Leader. I could not be more pleased with the growth of our group over the last several months. We have built a solid foundation and I continue to see incredible things happening within this community!
June Face of PPA
June 2, 2010You know how you are blazing through life and things just seem normal and almost boring at times? There have been several years of my life that have fallen into that category…certainly not bad but just not exciting. Incredibly my life has taken a different path most notably in the last year. The timing could not have been better for my personal spirit. I am a realist and in no way do I allow myself to become caught up in any unrealistic expectations or fleeting notoriety. It’s almost like the lottery…I have played since I was eighteen and I truly believe that one day I will hold a winning ticket in my hand but at the same time I don’t let that dream (or better stated that fantasy) get in the way of me accomplishing my everyday responsibilities. The same goes for my work. I put every ounce of myself into my work and hold on to that aspiration of one day being noticed for my contribution to the industry.
