It is truly my honor to be a part of this PPA (Professional Photographers of America) See The Difference campaign. I have heard so many disheartening stories from Brides who wish that they had followed their gut instinct when it came to choosing their wedding photographer…even when their wallet may have slightly disagreed. I am certainly not one to influence or persuade people to make a choice that they are uncomfortable with. That said, I do encourage Brides to think long term. The expense of a wedding is one of the biggest price tags of many couples lives…consider the items that stay with you forever. It’s not the lobster and filet mignon dinner or the exclusivity of the over the top venue…it’s the wedding photography. I encourage Brides to truly contemplate how important this piece of the wedding puzzle is to you? If it doesn’t rank at the top of your list…fair enough…splurge on the catering and the venue or better yet the honeymoon! But if it does rank at the top of your priority list…please don’t let it fall by the wayside! Do your research and find the perfect photographer for you. This is one investment that I don’t think too many people regret. In fact, the only regrets that I hear of are the Brides who let this priority fall short. It breaks my heart when that happens. Your wedding photographer truly does make a difference.

See The Difference Campaign
July 28, 2010For Angela…the answer to many of her questions unknowingly stared her in the face for many years. You see, she and John’s sister are best friends so she and John have been a part of each others lives for many years far before they fell in love. It wasn’t until John’s sister got married that Angela suddenly viewed John as “the one” instead of as her best friends little brother. The most beautiful part of all is that they already had an amazing friendship so naturally the path to love shortly followed.
The Wedding Ninja
July 18, 2010During the ceremony I took my shoes off so that the minimal squeak would be nonexistent. I silently slithered around the room snagging shots from every angel. Angela and John’s wedding was gorgeous…but more to come on that this week. About half way through the reception a guest came up to me and told me that he wasn’t sure what my business name was but he knew what it should be…The Wedding Ninja. I had to laugh out loud and tell him how much I loved that title and it just so happened that I had already been nicknamed the e-mail ninja. We laughed and he said that a couple of times he had even bet a few of the other guests that they wouldn’t be able to find me. He actually came over to me as I was crouched behind the cake table shooting away to tell me that no one else could find me. LOL! He thought I moved like a ninja. I loved that!
