For years, I haven’t been able to drive down the road and not evaluate every place I go by as a possible backdrop for the next session I shoot. As a photographer, I look at the world, light and my surroundings differently. Trees, leaves, buildings, color…everything is different. Yesterday, I joined Faythe Mesic for the last fashion shoot of 2010. The location was Earthworks and I was simply in heaven! I was surrounded by perfect scenarios for my style of photography. The only problem was we were short on daylight due to the weekend time change…which I am not a fan of. I photographed all of these models in about 35 minutes and then sadly the golden sun faded fast! I could have shot this location and these models for hours. The combination of the two was exquisite. Thank you to Earthworks, Faythe Mesic and the team of gorgeous models! It was a pleasure to work with you.

Diamonds Fashion Shoot
November 8, 2010Life. Love. Family.
November 3, 2010As a photographer, of course I take entirely too many pictures of my children. The problem is…I am getting worse about letting my own kids “live in my computer” while I bring clients to life in print. And in all honesty I hadn’t even had a real family portrait taken since Ayden was born. Sad, I know. With all of that in mind I asked my good friend Britt Anderson to photograph my family on a recent visit to Savannah. The River Street backdrops were exactly what I had in mind. Britt, I truly can’t thank you enough for bringing my family to life for print. Looking at these images makes me incredibly proud.
