Last night I had the privilege of photographing a beautiful family of five. We started out making promises to Blake (the baby of the family) that we would put her in her princess dress as soon as she smiled and got her picture taken. So, as “literal” as children are, she smiled for a picture and then she was ready for her princess dress ;-) Ha! That was enough of those “other pictures.”
Not to take away from anyone else in the family but I have to mention how beautiful Brooke, their oldest daughter, is. She was so fun to photograph because she is such a natural in front of the camera! Her face just lights up and fills the frame with amazing images! Isn’t she beautiful and incredibly photogenic? Thanks so much Brooke! I hope that you love your images!
And let’s not fail to mention Mr. and Mrs. McWilliams…don’t you all wish that your parents were this “hot” when you were growing up? Ha! Well, actually my parents were kinda hot. But this is not the norm…know what I mean? These kids should be proud to have parents who’s love for one another is so obvious. The children of this world today need to see more parents who are in love with one another and value one another. This is the foundation on which our children are building their lives. I’d love to see more families stepping up to the plate and proving that this world is not just made up of families and parents who are disconnected from one another. There are parents who are still dedicated to each other and their children…and if I am talking about you then let me take a moment to applaud you…job well done!
Okay, I’ll get off of my soapbox now. But let me end by saying that we should all strive to show our children in our homes and marriages each day that it is okay to have a healthy, loving, affectionate marriage! And being as “hot” as the McWilliams are doesn’t hurt either! ;-) Thanks again guys! I hope that you love your captures!
What a fun session Dawn and what a fun family! I had a giggle about the girl in the princess dress!
