I have been in touch with Lauren’s Mom for the last year on Facebook. She has been telling me that when the time drew near she couldn’t wait for me to photograph her daughters senior portraits. Oh, how thankful I am that she felt that way! Lauren is absolutely gorgeous. I could have photographed her all day long and well…I kinda did. We set off mid afternoon on Saturday in Lauren’s hometown of St. Augustine and didn’t stop until the sun had almost set. I think it goes without saying that Lauren drew a crowd. People just stopped and watched for a few minutes as we worked. At one point a gentleman approached us and literally sat within inches of Lauren…Um HELLO dude! We are working here and I’m pretty certain that Lauren doesn’t want you in her Senior pictures. Geez. We were nice though. We packed up and politely wished him a wonderful day.
Lauren is a lover of animals and she brought her precious little dog, Zoey, along for the photoshoot. As most of you know…I am not a dog person…that said, little Zoey tugged at my heartstrings with her precious looks and joyful demeanor. I might could have brought her home with me and lived happily ever after. But don’t tell my boys I said that. ;-) Zoey just stayed in her little purse all day without a peep. And when she did jump out for a few photos she was just as sweet and happy as could be. It would be kinda hard not to fall in love with her.
Lauren and Sheryl, I could not have possibly enjoyed our day together anymore than I did. Sheryl, It was terrific to see you and catch up. As you already know, you have one amazing daughter! She is obviously beautiful on the outside and I am certain even more so on the inside. Thank you for allowing me the honor of having her in front of my camera. Lauren, I wish you the absolute best senior year! I have a feeling that the world will be at your fingertips from the moment you collect that diploma and move forward into your future. Embrace and enjoy every minute of it!!!
XOXO~Dawn
Dawn, these shots are so amazing. No doubt you do the best work. Ms. Lauren is something else. Such a beauty queen, I tell her she needs to be a model. You have sure given her something to start working with. I don’t know how much more encouragement she needs. Amazing work Dawn!

I just keep coming back to look at the photos over and over! Beautiful photography, beautiful model, and that little Zoey is a ham! Usually animals DON’T want to cooperate with the camera.
